  How CircuPrime Improves Cardiovascular Health

CircuPrime is a revolutionary three part product designed to address the three major causes of cardiovascular disease. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in this country; fully 40% of the people who die this year will do so as a direct result of heart disease. Ironically, this is a lifestyle driven disease process that is completely preventable for most people. We have designed this product to help with three major preventable aspects of this condition. Research has shown that adopting a diet high in fiber, low in saturated fats and rich with fresh fruits and vegetables is a major step towards preventing heart disease. Research has also shown that a regular exercise program is another major step towards prevention of heart disease.

There are three other areas of prevention beyond these two that are addressed by CircuPrime. The first of these preventable areas is chronic, systemic inflammation. Studies have shown that before artery hardening plaque can build up on the inside of blood vessels, there must be some sort of inflammation present in those blood vessels which allows the plaque to stick to the arterial wall. A major cause for this inflammation is subclinical microbial infection of viral, fungal, and/or bacterial origin. The second preventable area of heart disease is reduction of blood viscosity. Thinner blood exhibits less turbulent hemodynamics as it passes through the blood vessels of the body. Less turbulence equates to fewer eddies and currents in areas of blood vessel irregularity and; therefore, less accumulation of cholesterol plaque in those areas. Blood with a lower viscosity is also more easily perfused into the tissues of the body, especially cardiac tissue that might be compromised by ischemia in people with existing cardiovascular disease. Decreasing blood viscosity also reduces the incidence of blood clots which cause pulmonary emboli and cerebral stroke, two of the major categories of life threatening cardiovascular disease. The third area of prevention that we address with this product is cholesterol oxidation. Cholesterol is a necessary precursor to all steroid hormones. When it is initially produced by the body, it is very loosely held together by protein and is called a very low density lipoprotein (VLDL). VLDL is then further packaged into another loosely assembled lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein (LDL), this is the “bad” cholesterol that gets so much publicity. As this LDL is able to make its way to the periphery of the body, an enzyme found in the arterioles of the cardiovascular system called lipoprotein lipase converts LDL into a very tightly packaged lipoprotein, high density lipoprotein (HDL), also known as the ‘good’ cholesterol. Allowing lipoprotein lipase access to the LDL cholesterol is a matter of blood viscosity, the thicker the blood the less likely that such exposure will happen, as well as blood flow, if the blood isn’t flowing vigorously into the periphery of the body, no matter the viscosity, the enzyme cannot convert the LDL to HDL.

There are three constituents of CircuPrime that perform the above mentioned functions. The first of these components is a proteolytic enzyme derived from a Japanese fermented soy cheese, Nattokinase. Nattokinase has proven itself to be a powerful ally in the war against heart disease. When ingested, it produces a very consistent reduction in blood viscosity by preventing the formation of fibrin strands within the blood vessels and therefore the formation of blood clots. Nattokinase has shown itself to be of immense value in those patients with clotting disorders by acting as a safe and efficacious adjunct to warfarin therapy. Its safety record is remarkable for an agent with as much therapeutic potential as it has exhibited, it is especially safe in those patients who are not on warfarin therapy as it only decreases the tendency for clotting, it doesn’t prevent reasonable clotting should such be necessary due to trauma or mechanical irritation.

The second constituent of CircuPrime is an antifungal with additional antiviral activity, zinc undecylenate. Zinc undecylenate is the zinc salt of the free fatty acid undecylenic acid, which is derived from castor beans. This compound is a well known active constituent in many over the counter antifungal products, it has exhibited consistent and reliable antiviral activity as well.

The third constituent of CircuPrime is a botanical agent that has been in therapeutic use for at least two thousand years, Galangal root (Alpinia galangal). Galangal is a well established gastrointestinal agent with documented systemic anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects with diaphoretic action. Its diaphoretic quality ensures better blood flow to the periphery of the body, thereby ensuring better access of LDL to lipoportein lipase and dependable increases in HDL levels. Its anti-inflammatory effect helps prevent the adherence of plague to the arterial walls; its anti-oxidant quality helps prevent the oxidation of cholesterol esters in the arteries of the body. In addition to these well documented qualities, galangal has also shown itself to be an effective antiviral, antifungal and anti-bacterial compound, especially active against several species of streptococcal and staphylococcal bacteria, Epstein-Barr virus, and Candida.
