Asked Questions
What
is cardiovascular
disease?
Cardiovascular
disease, which
includes:
- Heart
disease
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- High blood
pressure (hypertension)
- Angina
- Thrombosis
(blood clots)
- PAD (peripheral
arterial disease)
- Varicose
veins
- And many
more...
...is the predominant
cause of death
and disability
in the United
States and other
industrialized
nations. It accounts
for more than
1-½ times
the number of
deaths caused
by all forms of
cancer together.
There are four
general categories
of cardiovascular
disease that account
for 90% of all
cardiac deaths;
ischemic heart
disease, high
blood pressure,
valvular problems
and congenital
heart disease.
Ischemic heart disease is
the most common of these
four categories. Ischemia
is defined as an imbalance
between the supply and demand
of the heart for oxygenated
blood. As the arteries that
feed a tissue become progressively
more clogged with plaque,
there is a reduction in
the amount of blood that
is able to be perfused into
the area. Your heart is
a muscle that never takes
a break, it is going 24
hours a day, it is essential
that there is an adequate
network of vessels to bring
a constant fresh supply
of oxygen and nutrients
to the muscle cells. It
is also essential that the
network is able to take
away the waste material
that accumulates from normal
metabolism of the oxygen
and nutrients. As the blood
vessels that feed the heart
become clogged, the heart
muscle cells start to die
from starvation, lack of
oxygen, and drowning in
their own waste, this can
be a slow, silent process
that suddenly causes death
in someone who had no previous
symptoms.
How does one
get cardiovascular
disease?
There are really
two primary reasons
that people will
develop heart
disease, more
material coming
into the system
than the body
can effectively
utilize and then
accumulation of
that material
on the insides
of the vessels
through which
it transported.
Eating more calories
than one expends
in a day is going
to cause an accumulation
of energy stores,
the currency of
excess energy
is fat, that is
what makes more
than 50% of the
population of
our country overweight.
Trying to move
fat inside of
our water soluble
system is problematic
at best, but we
can do it if there
isn’t a
huge amount that
comes in at one
time. The presence
of more fat than
can be used increases
the tendency that
it will end up
on the walls of
our blood vessels;
this increased
tendency becomes
a stark reality
when there is
any kind of inflammation
present in the
system. That is,
any inflammation
caused by infection,
trauma or pollution
greatly increases
the deposition
of fats on the
insides of our
blood vessels.
Preventing heart disease
is primarily a matter of
eating less and exercising
more. If one emphasizes
foods that help reduce inflammation,
like fresh fruits and vegetables
and lean protein sources
like chicken, fish, and
legumes, then you can really
make a dramatic impact on
preventing heart disease.
I’m taking
medication right
now for an existing
cardiovascular
condition. Can
I take CircuPrime
along with my
medicines?
CircuPrime is
compatible with
most medications,
the people that
should be especially
aware of possible
cumulative effects
are those taking
blood thinners
with names like
coumadin, warfarin,
lovanox, heparin,
and plavix. The
best policy for
anyone on prescription
medication is
to discuss with
a physician the
pros and cons
of adding a supplement
like CircuPrime
into their regimen.
The difficulty
for a lot of people
is finding a physician
who is knowledgeable
enough about nutrition
and botanical
medicine to be
able to make an
intelligent recommendation.
I would suggest
looking on the
website Naturopathic.org
for help in finding
such a physician.
I have a mother
who had triple
by-pass surgery.
Can she take CircuPrime?
Your mother is
exactly the person
that circuprime
should be able
to help tremendously.
It would be wise
for her to stay
in contact with
her physician
when she begins
taking it because
the amounts of
her current medication
will most likely
need to be reduced.
How is CircuPrime
different from
other natural
products on the
market?
CircuPrime is
like no other
product on the
market. While
some products
support one aspect
of cardiovascular
health CircuPrime
does it in 3 ways.
It helps reduce
inflammation,
it decrease blood
viscosity (helps
thin the blood)
and helps control
viral, fungal
and bacterial
infections. All
3 of these are
major cause of
cardiovascular
disease and are
detrimental to
overall health.
No other product
has these actions
on cardiovascular
and overall health
like CircuPrime.
Can CircuPrime
thin the blood
too much?
We have found
that those people
who are not on
any prescription
blood thinners
have no problem
with their blood
becoming too thin
while on CircuPrime.
We have found
that those people
who are on prescription
blood thinners
will occasionally
need to reduce
the dose of their
prescription medication.
Is CircuPrime
something I have
to take all the
time?
CircuPrime provides
a way for us to
combat the negative
effects of poor
diet, lack of
exercise, and
living in a polluted
environment. You
don’t have
to take CircuPrime
all of the time;
we think that
you will feel
well enough with
it that you will
want to take it
all of the time.
Of course, the
only preventive
measures that
truly work are
the ones that
people do, having
an unopened bottle
of pills in your
cabinet and dust
on your weight
set isn’t
going to keep
you out of the
cardiac ward at
the hospital.
It says to take
one right before
bed, why is that?
Our bodies undergo
a tremendous amount
of repair during
sleep, having
thinner blood
and less inflammation
allows those repair
processes to proceed
more efficiently.
This is also the
time of day where
our circulation
is less vigorous
than any other
time, the stagnant
nature of the
blood system increases
the incidence
of blood clots,
CircuPrime provides
a way to reduce
that tendency.
I see that CircuPrime
contains Nattokinase.
Natto is a soy
item. I don’t
want to use soy
because I’ve
read all that
is bad about it.
Soy has received
a lot of negative
press lately,
some of it is
based in truth
a lot of it is
probably exaggerated.
What is true is
that soy contains
a substance called
phytic acid, this
is a mineral chelator
that helps the
soy plant survive
in poor soils,
but, tends to
rob our bodies
of necessary minerals.
Most of this substance
is removed when
soy is fermented
with certain bacteria.
Soy fermentation
has a long tradition
in Asia that is
comparable to
how the Europeans
cultured milk.
Natto is a type
of soy cheese
and nattokinase
is an enzyme that
can be extracted
from it that has
a proven fibrinolytic
activity; that
is, it acts as
a blood thinner.
There is usually
not enough other
soy constituents
present in nattokinase
to cause any of
the problems that
whole soy is suspected
to cause.
I’ve never
heard of Galangal
or Zinc Undecylenate.
Why is that if
they are so great?
Most of the substances
that enter the
health food store
market are the
least expensive
and easiest to
procure items
available. Most
companies don’t
have to go that
far out of their
way to purchase
their raw materials,
and production
costs are typically
the least expensive
aspect of doing
business. We decided
to formulate a
product without
regard to how
difficult it may
be to procure
or expensive for
us access; we
wanted a product
that would be
the absolute safest
and best that
nature has to
offer for this
purpose. Although
Galangal (Alpinia
galanga) is not
that well known
in our country,
it is legendary
throughout the
rest of the world
as an essential
cooking herb.
We purchase the
highest grade
available to ensure
the best results.
Zinc undecylenate
is actually a
very commonly
used anti-fungal,
most people reading
this right now
have some sort
of undecylenate
in their medicine
chests. These
are the most commonly
used topical anti-fungals
in the world.
Zinc undecylenate
is derived from
castor beans and
it is has to go
through a fairly
extensive and
expensive processing
before it is appropriate
for oral use,
again we wanted
the best and safest
ingredients and
not necessarily
the most affordable
for us.
Why is CircuPrime
so expensive?
CircuPrime is
very expensive
to produce. That
being said, CircuPrime
is actually a
very reasonably
priced supplement.
If you were to
go out and buy
Nattokinase as
an individual
supplement, you
could pay as much
for it alone as
you would for
CircuPrime. We
at EarthShine products
purposely kept
the price down
on CircuPrime
for one simple
reason. We want
to help people.
We want to help
improve one’s
health. We want
everybody to be
able to take CircuPrime.
We also offer
specials that
can help bring
your per bottle
cost down considerably.

Will CircuPrime
lower my cholesterol?
When a company
makes an agent
with the intent
to change the
structure or functioning
of the human body,
in this case,
to lower cholesterol,
then the agent
that does that
job is defined
as a drug by the
federal government.
We did not want
to create another
cholesterol lowering
supplement because
we didn’t
want to add to
the confusion
that is already
present in the
industry. Cholesterol
is an important
precursor to all
steroid hormones
in the body; these
include estrogen,
progesterone,
testosterone and
cortisol. Cholesterol
doesn’t
stick to the insides
of your blood
vessels unless
there is some
inflammation present
in the walls of
those vessels.
We feel that by
targeting the
inflammatory basis
for heart disease,
we could make
a more dramatic
positive impact
without adversely
affecting the
normal functioning
of the body.
Are there any
side effects from
taking CircuPrime?
No, there really
is not. Once in
a great while,
we will have reports
of nausea or stomach
upset from taking
CircuPrime. We
usually will then
advise those who
experience these
disturbances to
take it with food.
This usually clears
up any problem
one may have.
CircuPrime is
a very well tolerated
product.
I was taking
a cox-2 inhibitor
for my pain, and
the FDA had these
products pulled.
Why was that?
Cox-2 is short
for cyclooxygenase
type 2 which is
an enzyme that
helps make inflammatory
substances in
your body when
you have been
injured. Inflammation
is an absolutely
essential part
of the repair
process in the
body. Sometimes
the inflammatory
cascade gets stuck
in a loop where
the inflammation
causes damage
which brings an
immune response
that creates more
inflammation which
causes more damage
and the cycle
repeats. The answer
is not to stop
the inflammation,
necessarily, but
rather, to prompt
quicker resolution
of the cascade.
The cox-2 inhibitors
stop the inflammatory
process before
the repair aspect
is able to kick
in and the body
isn’t able
to protect and
repair itself
as it should.
This causes, among
other things,
an increase in
one’s risk
for cardiovascular
disease. This
is why those agents
were taken from
the market, they
represented a
potential threat
to the public’s
health.
Can CircuPrime
help with pain?
CircuPrime is
generally anti-inflammatory;
it accomplishes
this by supporting
more rapid resolution
of inflammation
through its normal,
natural course,
rather than stopping
the process during
a critical phase
of healing. CircuPrime
can help with
pain, it can also
help promote a
more thorough
healing response
so that, ideally,
a person is able
to reach the point
where pain is
a rare occurrence
rather than a
daily one.
Who should take
CircuPrime?
Anyone who is
interested in
taking a more
proactive role
in maintaining
their quality
of life should
consider taking
CircuPrime. We
would all like
to live for as
long as possible,
none of us wants
to do that while
in pain or unable
to experience
the full richness
of life for any
reason. CircuPrime
is an excellent
way to help ensure
the best quality
of life for the
years to come.
I’m a vegetarian.
Are there any
animal by products
in CircuPrime?
How about fillers?
CircuPrime is
an all vegetarian
formula, including
the capsules it
comes in.
The bottling company
uses a flowing
agent for production,
but it is also
from a vegetarian
source.
There are no
fillers in CircuPrime.
Instead of using
fillers, we used
extra amounts
of the herb Galangal
to help fill the
capsule so you
are reaping the
extra benefits
of this amazing
herb
How does CircuPrime
affect memory
loss?
Modern research
is beginning to
recognize the
primary role that
inflammation plays
in causing memory
loss, Alzheimer’s
and dementia.
Consider the negative
effects of ischemia
on the brain.
The brain tissue
is arguably the
most important
tissue in the
body when it comes
to maintaining
a good quality
of life. The brain
has an amazing
metabolism that
requires a vast
network of blood
vessels to supply
oxygen and nutrients
and to take away
the accumulated
waste material.
When inflammation
causes these vessels
to swell and begin
accumulating plaques,
the blood supply
network becomes
unable to do its
job. Free radical
damage begins
to accumulate
and the tissue
begins to die.
The brain is amazingly
resilient and
can function under
these conditions
for years with
just a gradual
decline in function
until frank memory
loss is present.
The addition of
an agent like
Ciruprime can
help improve the
resiliency of
the brain so that
the more aggressive
changes related
to memory loss
are staved off
for a longer time.
